WoodWorks is a new initiative to inspire, train and develop young people between 16 and 25 to enable them to create a living from the woods. The first course will begin with a week of immersion on 19th July 2015 involving up to 20 young people, followed by a package of mentoring and support to help the participants set up their own woods-based enterprises. We’re now seeking workshop leaders as well as a talented Project Manager to bring this project to life.
- 10.5 hours a week (though full time availability for week beginning 19 July is essential).
- Salary of up to c. £28677 pro rata
- Experience of project management and working with young people is essential
- This will be a two-year project
- Based in Falkland Estate, Fife

Workshop Leaders and Mentors

Creative practitioners, artists, product designers, craft-makers, forest economists and ecologists, outdoor event organisers and landscape interpretation specialists are all welcome to apply.
