TV Festival Opportunity ‘The Network’ Offers Glasgow Taster Class

The BBC and training programme The Network are teaming up for a master class and taster event for anyone with a passion and enthusiasm for television April 17th, to give potential applications a head start in applying to be part of this industry gold-dust opportunity.

The Network allows new entrants to the TV industry the chance to attend the Edinburgh International Television Festival, and gain invaluable experience, training, and contacts, and get invited to the hottest TV parties in the capital. If you manage to score a place you’ll spend 4 days mingling with the cream of the TV industry at the world famous Festival. With free accommodation and meals included. There are 65 places up for grabs and if selected you’ll be working alongside producers to make your very own versions of hit TV shows. You’ll get to meet directors, writers and producers. No qualifications or experience needed. They want people with ideas,passion and bags of enthusiasm.

Anyone trying to break into TV will be wanting to apply, but how do you make your application stand out, and find out more about what’s involved? Well, those helpful folks at BBC and The Network are offering a Master Class and Taster Session on the 17th of April at the BBC Studios down at Pacific Quay.
