As a regional delivery partner for the Big Lottery Funded project somewhereto_ we help 16-25 year olds find free spaces to do whatever they love, deliver training and opportunities, and turn post-recession empty properties into thriving hubs of creativity.
Hot Tap Media has been one of two regional delivery partners in Scotland since 2011. In that time we have worked with hundreds of young people and turned empty spaces into hubs of activity. Some of our successes to date include:
-
ShortCUTs, a youth-led film-making process based in Dundee which helped young people form creative teams and make their own film
-
Platform7 – a touring group art exhibition of young people’s work, curated entirely by a team of new young curators
-
Argyle House, a dedicated hub in the centre of Edinburgh for young people to use as free space to rehearse, dance, film, plan and exhibit
-
Harvey Nick Nacks, a popup christmas department store with a difference
