We’re working with Highlands and Islands Enterprise to support community groups in the region who want to use crowdfunding to fund their projects as part of their awesome Crowdfunding Pilot. It’s been a pretty brilliant journey so far that’s seen us helping save endangered trees on Arran and sponsoring saplings at Tighnabruaich, and meeting some amazing community groups along the way. We’ve also had the chance to give talks on crowdfunding and alternative finance at events in Skye, Fort William and Stornaway, and through a virtually-packed-out webinar, and we have also written a pretty useful toolkit on crowdfunding for communities. And it’s not over yet!
Highlands and Islands Enterprise have now published the webinar and toolkit on their website along with a call to action. Any community groups in the region who could use some support to help boost their crowdfunding campaign can now apply to the Crowdfunding Pilot programme. One to two selected groups will get free consultancy from Hot Tap including a pitch video, promotional content, and lots of support, advice and ideas to help create a successful campaign.
To give your community campaign a boost, visit the Highlands and Islands Crowdfunding Pilot page now and apply to be our next project!
