Hot Tap has been out in the Outer Hebrides recently to shoot our latest crowdfunding pitch video. We’re working with Gallan Head Community Trust to help them plan, promote and launch their crowdfunding campaign ‘Whales and Tea‘.
This will allow visitors to the Island the opportunity to have a cup of tea and listen to the whales through the installation of a marine hydrophone – a microphone designed to be used underwater for recording or listening to underwater sound.

We’re working with Highlands and Islands Enterprise to support community groups in the region who want to use crowdfunding to fund their projects as part of their awesome Crowdfunding Pilot. It’s been a pretty brilliant journey so far that’s seen us helping save endangered trees on Arran and sponsoring saplings at Tighnabruaich, and meeting some amazing community groups along the way.
